Summary

Ensure the dealer service department management provides competent, quality service that will enhance customer perception of product, the dealer and ownership experience and maximize their repeat purchase intent.  Assist dealer in marketing Kia products and parts/accessory sales.  Act as a business consultant in developing profitability and value of franchise.

Major Responsibilities

Priority 1st - 20%

Manages and directs all District Service activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.

Priority 2nd - 20%

Manages and directs all District Parts activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.

Priority 3rd - 20%

Manages and directs all District Warranty activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.

Priority 4th - 20%

Manages and directs all District Service Training, including limited technical assistance, activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.

Priority 5th - 20%

Manages and directs all District Consumer Affairs activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Overall Experience

  • Specialized OEM vocational or technical training.
  • Wholesale and retail dealership experience desirable.
  • Business consulting.

Directly Related Experience

  • Demonstrated evidence of technical aptitude, either via formal education or hands-on automotive experience. 
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve owner concerns consistent with KUS politices/procedures. 

Position Requirements:

  • Frequent travel may be required domestically and/or internationally 
  • Daily/weekly/monthly dealer visits are required and an essential function of this position.
  • Frequent travel may include but is not limited to monthly/quarterly/annual visits to Regional Offices or Headquarters as required by the job
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Ability to relocate to a new location if requested by the company
  • Must have valid Driver’s License and maintain a responsible record that meets the criteria established by KUS.
  • Required to drive a company vehicle

Skills

Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
Excellent communication skills required (written and oral)
Maintain a valid driver’s license and responsible driving record.

Pay Range

$79,596.00 - $106,543.20

Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
