Summary

This position is responsible for the accurate review and processing of labor and part markup increases, to ensure compliance with KUS Service Policy & Procedures. This position directly provides dealer support and direction to dealers with warranty repairs that impact Kia customers in addition to alerting management of any issues with KUS Service policy that can negatively impact dealers or customers.

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 40%   

Analyze and provide financial impact of labor rate and part markup increase requests to management.


2nd Priority - 40%

Review, validate and process warranty labor rate and parts mark-up reviews or other dealer requests as directed by management.


3rd Priority - 10%

Provide regular updates to management of any relevant changes to state legislation that may impact Franchisor labor and part compensation.

 

4th Priority - 10%

Special project support as needed or required to achieve department objectives or goals (i.e., sublet limit claim increases, campaign application, dealer training, field training, dealer warranty help desk support etc.)

Education/Certification

  • A BS Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Overall Experience

  • A basic knowledge of automotive systems, repair order generation, component operation and repair is highly desired

  • Dealership fixed operations knowledge of warranty processing and guidelines

Directly Related Experience

  • Minimum of 1-3 years National Warranty Department experience with distributor or manufacturer

  • General knowledge of automotive components, systems and operations

  • Dealer Service experience helpful

  • Hotline/ Call Center/ Web based support experience helpful

Skills

Warranty and CRM systems software knowledge (WebDCS, AS400, Siebel, KGIS, EPC, WIN)
MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Sharepoint is a plus
Experience using publication software (Adobe products) preferred
High level organizational, planning and analytical skills
Advanced verbal and strong written communication skills are required
Critical thinking and problem-solving acumen

Pay Range

$52,297 - $70,060

Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
