Status
Summary
Administer the daily operation of specific functions related to KMA department vehicle programs in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. Develop analytical tools to monitor and track department vehicle inventories at all levels; make recommendations to reduce overall operating costs; and recommend corrective actions in order to achieve greater levels of efficiency. Provide support for departments concerning vehicle-related activities. Negotiate between departments, Regions, and Management for vehicle disposal action plans.
Major Responsibilities
1st Priority - 45%
Prototype Vehicle Management – Work directly with departments on all stages of prototype vehicles from approvals, vehicle arrival, and through vehicle disposal. Work closely with managers, departments, and IT to develop programs to enhance prototype processes for tracking. Conduct a prototype vehicle audit on an annual basis
2nd Priority - 30%
Administer Distributor Plates – Track all distributor plate inventories following all company and state requirements. Accurately account for all plates and their usages. Release and confirm return on approved usage requests to company users. On an annual basis, conduct audits on all distributor plates to ensure accuracy or plates on hand and in use. Renewal distributor license plates as required.
3rd Priority - 15%
Facilitate Borrowed Vehicle Programs – Working closely with departments and approving parties, review all borrowed vehicle agreements, both internal and Non-KMA entities. Ensure full execution of all contracts in a timely manner prior to vehicle releases. Work hand in hand with departments to make sure all company policies are being followed.
4th Priority - 10%
Administer Key Tracking Program - Ensure keys are logged as vehicles are received and that informationis accurately entered. Train department on usage of machines as needed.
Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Overall Experience
- 3-5 years of direct administration of corporate fleet vehicle activities required.
Directly Related Experience
- Direct experience with contract review, inventory control and vehicle record keeping.
- Knowledge of overall vehicle distribution operations is required, including but not limited to knowledge of vehicle depreciation.
Position Requirements:
- Occasional travel may be required.
- May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.

Pay Range
$61,815 - $82,796
Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
