Provide technical analysis of vehicles involved in claims and Lemon Law and warranty related litigation. Monitor Kia vehicle performance in the field.  

Major Responsibilities


Major Responsibility



Provide technical support to KMA Legal Department Staff and local counsel for Lemon Law and warranty matters.



Provide technical support to Consumer Affairs for vehicle claim resolution.



Perform vehicle inspections to support claims, Lemon Law and Warranty claim analysis.



Monitor Kia vehicles performance conditions in the field regarding potential reliability and safety conditions.




Monitor review and track NHTSA complaints and government investigations



  • BS degree in Engineering or Automotive Technology or equivalent work experience required.

Overall Experience

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in automotive technical positions such as Product Quality or in an engineering environment.  

Directly Related Experience

  • Strong working knowledge of automobiles with the ability to perform hands-on vehicle system performance assessments.


Automotive background a plus but not required.

High level of automotive knowledge desired

Excellent communication skills required (written and oral)

Exceptional analytical skills and ability to develop concise and effective stories that are supported by data.

Attention to detail; personal organization skills

PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point

Working knowledge of statistical and in-life analysis using Weibull software
