In coordination with Product Planning, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Kia HQ, develop, present, negotiate and execute pricing and revenue strategies, concepts, proposals, and recommendations for current and future products, which achieve volume/mix targets, and optimize KUS revenue/profitability while accounting for competitive actions, market trends, and company capabilities.  Develop analysis to identify opportunities to optimize new vehicle pricing, profitability and market penetration.  Supervise development and maintenance of feature value table, competitive value trends and competitive product actions.  Lead new vehicle revenue management strategy that achieves KUS and Kia HQ targets.   Manage system that ensures product content is built and priced accurately.  

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 30%

Develop and present pricing strategies for current and future models.  Analyze product feature value, margins, revenue, competitive pricing, value trends, volume, and residual targets that best balance internal strategies with external factors.  Price planning to begin at concept stage and continue throughout development with regular checks of value added, margin and volume potential.

2nd Priority - 20%

Develop and present short and mid-term profit targets with cost/FOB recommendations to support KUS and dealer margins.  Ensure pricing accurately accounts for content cost and value. Support negotiations among Kia NA, Kia HQ and KUS with price structure and profit expertise, and recommendations for optimal positioning.  

3rd Priority - 20%

Manage the system that verifies KUS model, trim and option package content, pricing and cost match factory build data to confirm that inputs into the KUS SAP system are aligned with those of Kia HQ, KaGA, and KMX at the OCN level.

4th Priority - 10%

Supervise PIO pricing including competitive value analysis, KUS/dealer margins, and market penetration.

5th Priority - 10%

Supervise value analysis – Manage tracking model report updated monthly and value analysis required with each model pricing action.  Lead periodic update of feature value table and related coordination with Kia HQ counterparts. 

6th Priority - 10%

Supervise accurate and timely execution of vehicle pricing proposals and distribution of pricing information to both internal and external customers.


  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Advanced degree preferred.

Overall Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in automotive, product planning, pricing, marketing, finance, or related field

Pay Range

$114,529 - $165,084 

Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
