Summary

This position is key to the growth of the dealer fleet (Kia Commercial Advantage), mobility, and commercial business development initiatives.  The position will develop new partnerships and strengthen existing client relationships to support the growth of dealer fleet sales. The Sr. Mobility Development Manager will enable Kia's mobility strategic vision by developing, deploying, and managing operating plans that deliver sustainable, measurable business growth. This role will support and guide decision making related to existing and prospective markets including demographics, peer benchmarking, provider supply/demand analysis, industry trends, and service assessments.  The individual will leverage market knowledge and available data to build a business plan, provide insights, align resources and communicate recommendations to senior leadership.

Major Responsibilities

Priority 1st - 30%

Develop, implement and own a robust mix of commercial partnerships (Fleet, Commercial Advantage and EV) to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets.  
Establish sales strategy to include segment identification, customer acquisition, and customer retention.
Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with new organizations, negotiate partnership agreements and ensure mutually beneficial terms.

Priority 2nd - 50% 

Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and business insights specific to the mobility industry to cultivate direct relationships with commercial businesses and government agencies (statewide and local jurisdictions) to identify new opportunities. 
Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets, business plan objectives and grow commercial fleet to a $1B book of business and active customer base to 250 customers (domestic/international).  Optimize existing revenue streams and explore innovative channels for revenue generation.


Priority 3rd - 10%

Collaborate with cross functional teams, including sales, finance and marketing to provide integrated solutions for 
Kia Commercial Advantage, commercial fleet mobility, and Last Mile businesses (including KiaFlex mobility) partners and customers.

Priority 4th - 10%

Provide analytics, reporting, and recommendations to senior management on customer requirements, market performance, direction, and pricing.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to revenue generation, partnership success and overall mobility business growth.

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar bachelor degree
  • Master’s degree a plus.

Overall Experience

  • 10+  years in automotive retail, automotive wholesale, captive finance company, leasing company, consultancy experience, or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of fleet management company a plus

Directly Related Experience

  • Experience in customer management and business development
  • Fleet sales experience or fleet services experience
  • Experience with with Fleet Management Companies 
  • Experience launching and managing new products and programs
  • Prior experience in direct sales

Position Requirements:

  • Travel required domestically and/or internationally.
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

High level of proficiency in verbal, written and electronic communications.
Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze several sources of data and interpret/incorporate into action plans.
Prior experience in direct sales
Problem identification, solving and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with SAP

Pay Range

$108,209.00 - $156,132.55

Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
