Summary

The Finance role will support all aspects of financial and business-related analysis, including serving as the subject matter expert on the company’s purchasing policies and procedures.  The person will actively work with business units on creating awareness as to business issues and opportunities.

Major Responsibilities

1st Manage the company’s purchasing system 30%
2nd Provide department support on Finance related inquiries 20%
3rd Collect and analyze data for financial and business-related reviews 20%
4th Manage the purchase order process 20%
5th Prepare financial performance reports for management 10%

 

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance preferred

Overall Experience

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in finance, financial analysis or accounting
  • 5+ years of applicable leadership/management experience

Directly Related Experience

  • Demonstrated success in directing the work of others and experience in conducting complex organizational, financial, and/or compliance audits.
  • Knowledge of purchasing practices, principles, methods, and procedures.

Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills required (written and oral)
Advanced Excel skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
