Summary

Lead, manage and drive growth of large digital, marketing programs, inclusive of planning, managing, and optimizing, creative development.  Create industry leadership position for Kia Motors in web, mobile and digital activities by utilizing industry tools, analyses best practice and benchmarks.  Provide guidance and direction to agency partners, vendors, budget oversight and processes as necessary to meet business objectives and maximize return on Kia digital investments. Develop and utilize analytics to drive strategies and program improvements. 

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 30%

Lead Digital Innovation activities. 

2nd Priority - 30%

Oversee Kia.com platform and web/mobile related projects.  

3rd Priority - 40%

Manage program level operations, direct reports, and agency partners.  
 

PERSONALLY PERFORMED DUTIES
Web/Mobile and Marketing Innovation

  • Lead implementation of initiatives, ensuring that digital solutions meet the needs of customers, drive efficiencies and cost savings while remaining scalable across the organization. 
  • Guide and inspire future Kia innovation and identify opportunities to test and adopt emerging/evolving technologies to increase consumer engagement with Kia vehicles 
  • Oversee kia.com operations and the future state roadmap for kia.com.
  • Work closely with and act as an SME on digital/innovation across Kia departments to ensure a unified and seamless customer experience journey with the Kia brand and our vehicles (both shopping and ownership)
  • Collaborate with and support Kia Headquarters in the development of global based digital platform enhancement programs

Program Management

  • Manage product launches, maintaining close coordination with sales, distribution, and marketing to ensure launch schedules stay in sync with product distribution, efficiently utilize marketing collateral, and align with campaign and strategy pillars    
  • Manage direct reports roles and responsibilities, performance, growth, and output.
  • Manage backlog prioritization and efficient allocation of resources aligned to business objectives and impact
  • Monitor site health and performance and deliver on-going reporting with insights and recommendations to Executive Management
     

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Master’s degree desirable
     

Overall Experience

  • 8+ years’ experience in advertising, product marketing, sales, digital marketing, pricing, product and/or corporate planning, or consumer insights; automotive experience a plus.
  • 5+ years’ experience in leading and/or managing digital marketing activities; experience developing and optimizing web and mobile based platforms strongly desired as is experience overseeing paid and owned digital/social platforms.

Pay Range

$119,110.00 - $171,688
Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
