Status
Summary
Coordinate with the Executive Regional Management to set the Region’s market representation priorities. Direct the activities of the Dealer Development and the Retail Operations staff. Identify specific growth opportunities and develop/implement action plans to expeditiously capitalize on those opportunities.
Manage and when needed implement action plans to enhance the staff managers, DSMs and DPSMs business management skills. Manage these tools to consistently improve dealer profitability.
Manage and guide the process of providing Dealer Candidate Selection Letters, Letters of Intent, New Dealer Appointments, Facility Relocations, Terminations, Split Facilities and Buy-Sell Proposals. Other areas of responsibility will include the management of Sales and Service Agreement Amendments, Nominee Successor requests, and Assistance-to-Sell requests. Quantify and qualify all dealer proposals and recommend approval. Manage the implementation of Dealer Development policies and procedures.

4th | Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive dealer development corporate policies and procedures to establish and maintain dealership standards as required by the Kia Sales and Service Agreement. | 10% |
Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
- MBA preferred
Overall Experience
- 10+ years of wholesale automotive experience, including 7 years field sales management experience.
- 7+ years of field experience should include 2 years as a District Sales Manager and 5 years in a Regional Staff Management position within Market Representation, Dealer Development or Business Management.
Directly Related Experience
- Demonstrated experience in dealer prospecting, dealer candidate review, and preparation of dealer proposals.
