This position is key to the growth of the PBV, mobility, and commercial business development initiatives.  Expectations of this role are to identify and acquire fleet customers to achieve commercial fleet business plan sales targets and revenue goals.  Additional responsibilities will be to sell PBV vehicles to commercial customers

This position will also support special projects undertaken by the Fleet & Remarketing department. 

Major Responsibilities

Priority 1st - 30%

Ownership of direct commercial sales strategy to develop and grow Kia commercial fleet business, PBV and EV customer base.  Sales strategy to include segment identification, customer acquisition, and customer retention.

Priority 2nd - 50% 

Cultivate direct relationships with commercial and government businesses and close sales to achieve sales targets and business plan objectives. 

Develop and execute on a plan to grow commercial fleet plan to a $1B book of business and beyond.  Grow active customer base to 250 customers (domestic/international) 

Priority 3rd - 10%

Primary commercial fleet sales representative to work with internal teams to provide integrated solutions to partners and customers to grow KUS business acumen in PBV, mobility, and last mile including supporting KiaFlex mobility

Priority 4th - 10%

Provide analytics, reporting, and recommendations to senior management on customer requirements, market performance and direction, pricing, and other information


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar bachelor degree
  • Master’s degree a plus.

Overall Experience

  • 10+  years in automotive retail, automotive wholesale, captive finance company, leasing company, consultancy experience, or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of fleet management company a plus

Directly Related Experience

  • Experience in customer management and business development
  • Fleet sales experience
  • Experience with Fleet Management Companies and Rental Car Companies
  • Experience launching and managing new products and programs

Position Requirements:

  • Travel required domestically and/or internationally.
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


High level of proficiency in verbal, written and electronic communications.
Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze several sources of data and interpret/incorporate into action plans.
Prior experience in direct sales
Problem identification, solving and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with SAP

Pay Range

$101,100.00 - $141,600.00
