Under the direction of Digital Technology Management, the Sr. Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the daily operations of Kia America business-to-business (B2B) enterprise systems including employee, dealer, and consumer-facing systems. Solves business problems by analyzing requirements; designing computer programs; recommending system controls and protocols.

Sr. Business Systems Analyst works closely with various business units and IT service providers to devise optimal solutions for various short-term and long-term enhancements, bug fixes, implement changes, and functional requirements to technical specifications. This position provides valuable insights for optimizing user experiences, leveraging best enterprise system practices, creating program governance, and guiding stakeholders through program innovation strategy, risk analysis, and systems integration.   

This position provides operational and functional administration of the enterprise systems to leverage efficiencies between systems and processes to support the evolving business needs of Kia America and its retailer network. This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of business requirements, solution scope, testing, training, business support, key performance indicators, and data analysis for continuous process improvements.

Major Responsibilities

Priority 1st - 30%
Support B2B enterprise systems and projects in support of the company’s short-term and long-term business strategy. Work with key business and IT stakeholders in implementing systems solutions and integrating best practices into a technology platform. Ensure overall health of the enterprise system to best support business priorities, and internal and external stakeholders, and provide Level 2 systems support.

Priority 2nd - 25%
Perform business requirements analysis within the context of internal and external facing systems and content management systems; Assist in the development of best practices to improve business processes, system solutions, business intelligence, workflow, and process flow diagrams.

Priority 3rd - 25%
Define project requirements and support business users throughout the project life cycle including scope definition, design review, and User Acceptance Testing. Monitor project progress, resolve project issues, publish progress reports and recommend actions to remediate risks.

Priority 4th - 20%
Oversee the life cycle of changes to business systems and maintain detailed documentation. Perform ad-hoc data analysis and create reports for business users.



  • Bachelor’s degree or comparative experience with emphasis on automotive systems required
  • Advanced degree and/or certification(s) in Business Analysis, Project Management, Information Technology or Digital Transformation

Overall Experience

•    8 years of Business Systems Analysis experience
•    3+ years of experience in Project Life Cycle Mgmt. and Systems Development Life Cycle
•    Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud solutions implementations and migrations from on-prem to cloud, configuration, and governance.
•    Strong SQL knowledge and experience with data analytics and business intelligence platforms, such as Power BI, SAS etc.
•    Experienced in working as a techno-functional leader handling multiple stakeholders.

Pay Range

$78,800.00 - $106,400.00
