This position reports to the head of the Brand Experience Department and is responsible for managing the marketing and PR activities of KUS/KCA/KMX, largely two fields of Strategy/Media and PR/Experientials. The scope of the position is not limited to only NA region, but also require communicating with global HQ (KHQ) and understanding both global and regional brand marketing. Strategically approach to manage each market’s brand marketing activities to accomplish KNA’s regional brand goal. This position will be a key person to oversee all brand marketing between KHQ and 3 markets. 

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 30%

  • Responsible for overseeing and managing development of regional brand strategy coordinating with KUS/KCA/KMX/ to establish new/future brand identity toward Brand desires to target. 
  • Manage localization and optimization of the local brand strategy and roll out planning aligned with or based on global brand direction.
  • Monitor and analyze brand/marketing survey (or customers clinic/market analysis) to draw insights and set strategical enablers for brand management at each subsidiary. 
  • Maintain awareness of changing market trends, consumer attitudes and opinions.

2nd Priority - 30%

New Model Launch / Strategy

  • Responsible for overseeing and managing development of regional new model launch strategy and planning with KUS/KCA/KMX under brand direction. 
  • Based on product study and clinic, identify the target customer, and build communication direction along with positioning strategy.  
  • Manage and oversees each country’s communication messages and creative concepts/portfolio

3rd Priority - 20%

Media/Non-Media Marketing Management

  • Responsible for managing and validating regional media/non-media strategy based on brand direction and target and implement across all marketing channels to accomplish regional brand goal.
  • Manage and oversee overall year around Media/Non-Media marketing activities including Media strategy, PR, Autoshow, Experience, customer/internal events, and so on.
  • Lead RHQ initiated Digital web/media platform integration and enhance digital marketing capability
  • Manage each market’s annual marketing calendar, major activities, and budgets.

4th Priority - 10%

General Marketing Management / Co-op with KHQ

  • Responsible for handling and developing delicate Top Executive reporting and Business Meeting/Conference preparation.
  • Manage for Marketing KPI on RHQ and KUS/KCA/KMX subsidiary that could vary by business goal.
  • Support the strategic direction, management, and coordination with key stakeholders between KHQ and KNA for co-op projects.
  • Manage coordination of global HQ communication for creative, sponsorship, marketing planning per activity.

5th Priority - 10%

Team Management

  • Collaborate & effectively communicate all KHQ, KNA all departments, subsidiaries, and vendors.
  • Effectively counsel, guide and develop team members to cultivate diverse talents of them while focusing on goals and vision of the company and team.  


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or other business-related major a plus

Overall Experience

  • 10+ years of project management or marketing field experience required, or 2-3 years of project management or marketing field experience required with master’s degree   
  • 5+ years’ experience working at ATL(  production/media)/PR/Experiential areas highly preferred 
  • Automotive manufacturer experience preferred
  • International (Non-U.S) study/work experience preferred  

Directly Related Experience

  • Administrative duties with a focus on attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of automotive manufacturer experience.  
  • Must understand the relationship between HQ and subsidiaries in auto manufacturer
  • Inter-personal communication experiences with international (non-U.S) counterpart or account
  • Bilingual in Korean preferred 


Position Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required  
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Excellent communication skills required (written and oral)
Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Pay Range

$101,100.00 - $141,600.00
