Status
Summary
Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Pricing Strategy and Residual Management, and in coordination with the product managers, this role is responsible for assisting with setting the pricing strategy for future Kia products. This entails rigorous analysis of Kia’s performance in the context of industry trends to develop competitive MSRP positioning of future Kia models while balancing profitability and volume requirements.
This role will also support residual value functions within KMA, reporting on Kia’s residual value performance, supporting consulting projects with vendors, and analyzing residual impact of product packaging/pricing scenarios.

Education/Certification
- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience required
Overall Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in automotive pricing, product planning, marketing research, engineering or related field required
Directly Related Experience
- Automotive enthusiast with pricing or planning experience preferred
- Analysis of large quantities of complex data
- Industry, consumer and technical analysis
- Development of presentation materials
Other Requirements:
- Occasional travel may be required domestically and/or internationally.
- May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
