Status
Summary
Under the direction of the Senior Pricing and Residual Value Manager, and in coordination with Product Planning team members, KUS Finance and Kia HQ, this role is responsible for supporting the development of pricing strategy for all current and future products. The purpose of this position is to ensure pricing proposals accurately reflect current market conditions as well as meet corporate sales and profit targets. This is accomplished through various types of research and competitive price position analysis, which is a key component of product pricing proposals to executives.
Major Responsibilities
1st Priority - 35%
Analyze, validate and report vehicle price value competitiveness (PVC) to executive decisionmakers
2nd Priority - 35%
Prepare and provide support for the development of all vehicle pricing proposals
3rd Priority - 15%
Perform various market analysis on a periodic or ad hoc basis as required, and report findings to management
4th Priority - 15%
Manage port installed option (PIO) pricing in coordination with Accessory Development team, KUS Finance and PPD managers
Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Master’s degree preferred
Overall Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in automotive product planning, operations, market research or related field required
Directly Related Experience
- Automotive enthusiast with pricing or planning experience preferred
- 5+ Analysis of large quantities of complex data
- Industry, consumer and technical analysis
- Development of presentation materials
Other:
- May travel up to 10% as required by job.
- May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends and/or holidays.

Pay Range
$67,600 - $93,113
Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
