This position acts as a support function to the Merchandising & Promotions Manager for KMA’s parts and accessory sales and merchandising programs, DIO accessory material, and vendor drop ship programs.  Assignments will include program development and communication support, billing, and vendor administration.  It requires creativity to assist in the design and implementation of merchandising material and products, as well as organizational skills to assist the department to assure on-time delivery of new product offerings.  Also required are high levels of computer skills to properly assign vendor to dealer billings.

Major Responsibilities

Participates in the development of drop ship parts sales enhancement programs.  Administers KMA’s current and future drop-ship vendor billing processes.  This includes reports, variance studies, exception requests and handling, as well as dealer questions.



Assist with DIO accessory merchandising in order to achieve corporate sales objectives.  This is to include penetration and sales report design, product impact studies, part number change requests and part information, field communications, and general department analytics.



Provide Administrative support for fixed operations marketing development programs as requested.



Provide Administrative support for budget and finance submissions for the department.



  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Overall Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of automotive or automotive related business experience (import experience desirable). 
  • Preferred candidate would have experience in report generation, billing and accessory processes within a wholesale environment. 

Directly Related Experience

  • Experience in the handling of vendors that handle automotive or related products is highly desired.
  • Experience with product sales is a plus.


Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft software.

Exceptional analytical skills and ability to develop concise and effective stories that are supported by data.
