The Parts & Accessory Manager represents the interests of Kia North America (KNA) in the relationship, interaction, and communication between NA subsidiaries (KUS, KCA, KMX) and affiliates of Mobis NA to ensure efficient management of KNA parts and accessories business.  Oversees all aspects of Kia North America (KNA) parts sales, delivery, new model parts stock, remanufacturing programs, accessory development, and parts price competitiveness including all aspects of Kia North America (KNA) Accessory Product Planning, collaboration on accessory launch, marketing, and oversight of the Mobis NA affiliates Accessory Development process. This includes close attention to the Mobis NA management and of their Parts Sales and Accessory develop operations, inventory, planning, and timely delivery that is required for new model parts, service parts, campaign parts, dealer installed accessories, and port installed accessories, as well as monitoring Mobis NA policies and procedures so that they match and support KNA regional policies and procedures. Coordinate future & New model products accessory feasibility planning between Kia HQ, KNA, US Design Studio, KNA Product Planning (PPD), Mobis NA affiliates and HATCI. 

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 30%    

Manage all aspects of the KNA and Mobis NA business relationship related to Kia Parts and Accessories Operations and support to Kia Subsidiaries, Dealers, and vehicle owners. Address Kia subsidiary concerns and examine industry trends in relation to parts operations and implement improvements internally and/or with Mobis NA, as necessary.
2nd Priority - 30%    

Oversight of Regional parts & accessory pricing, operations, service agreement contracts with Mobis partners and financial performance to ensure company objectives for parts revenue and profitability are met.

3rd Priority - 30%    

Regional Management of the Accessory Product Planning and Development Oversight for all new KNA accessories to assure synergy as well as on-time launch availability, design, quality, functionality, installation, and training standards are achieved.  Operational interface responsibility with Kia HQ, Mobis (NA affiliates), HATCI and Glovis for all accessory launch functions.

4th Priority - 10%    
Monitor the marketplace to identify emerging accessory and personalization trends which will help deliver on Kia vehicle brand positioning.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, supply chain management, or related Engineering, Technical field or equivalent work experience required.  

Overall Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience in automotive service parts and accessory development operations, with a working knowledge of engineering, distribution, logistics, inventory management, parts related systems and project management.  
  • Engineering, Product Planning, or Accessory development preferred

Directly Related Experience



Coordination and management of unique HMG entities and aftermarket supplier organization.
Excellent communication skills required (written and oral)
Excellent PC skills including MS Office, JATO, mTAB
Mechanical/development/engineering skills necessary to conceptualize accessory development feasibility and expected outcome.
Solid management and negotiation skills.
