Summary

The Marketing Strategy & Communications Manager reports to the Sr. Brand Marketing Manager and is responsible for managing Brand/New model launch and marketing strategy within North America region. This will also manage each market’s brand study, various marketing strategies per brand/new model launch activities/media, digital marketing data analytics, and tracks budget of marketing activities.

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 30%

Manage Brand/Marketing Strategy 

  • Manage and analyze both globally and regionally conducted brand studies in each market.
  • Track and analyze regular based Brand/Model performance study 

2nd Priority - 30%

Manage new model launch strategy and planning

  • Manage integrated new model launch plans in each region including launch process, positioning, launch, media planning, execution, and creative plans.
  • Monitor and analyze launch activities executions/marketing activities and performance
  • Based on each country’s launch activities, track the timeline, and budgets
  • Track marketing assets bank and usage including license tracking

3rd Priority - 30%

Manage marketing communications and media operations

  • Manage marketing media strategy in each region
    • Audience Targeting,  Media Channel Strategy, Digital Operation & Platform Strategy

Deep focus on digital marketing tracks and enhance regional standard

  • Google analytics and marketing platform integration
  • Social activities monitoring and reporting

4th Priority - 10%

Reporting and Coordination 

  • Coordinate co-op marketing activities between global & regional (KHQ / KNA / Subsidiaries) 
  • Monitor and report periodic marketing activities & plans
  • Manage and organize regional marketing meeting (on/off-site)
  • Undertake individual task of a marketing plan as assigned
  • KPI development/evaluation for 3 markets’ brand & marketing performance
     

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.  

Overall Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience working at Brand/ATL(production/media), especially in digital media strategic planning and data analysis highly preferred 
  • 5-8 years of project management or marketing field experience required, or 2-3 years of project management or marketing field experience required with master’s degree 
  • International (Non-U.S) study/work experience preferred
     

Directly Related Experience

  • Ability to operate in small, fast paced organization and perform a variety of task to meet the business needs
  • Minimum 3 years of automotive manufacturer experience
  • Administrative duties with a focus on attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Cross-functional & Inter-personal communication experiences with international (non-U.S) counterpart or account
  • Automotive manufacturer experience preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean desired

Position Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required domestically and/or internationally 
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Pay Range

$108,284 - $123,925

Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
