Summary

 This position will work with internal Kia America (KUS) departments to establish vehicle handling and disposal processes to maximize vehicle usage while minimizing financial risk. It will lead the department’s policy and procedures to support KUS’s Business Continuity Plan and establish additional processes as business needs indicate.

The role is critical for vehicle scheduling logistics for key marketing programs.

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 85%   

Management and Execution of KUS’s Marketing fleet to maintain optimum vehicle availability to marketing team. Maintain scheduling documents

  • Track integration documentation
  • Escalating issues in a timely matter
  • Work with Kia US departments on vehicle sharing
  • Coordinate with third party vendors on vehicle prep
  • Coordinate with Kia US service for vehicle maintenance
  • Coordinate and work with Kia HQ on prototype order
  • Recommend vehicle/ prototype retirement

2nd Priority - 15%

Work with various vendors to recommend and deliver quality merchandising offering to both Kia US and Kia Dealers.

  • Work with Merchandise partners on Brand, vehicle and promotional products and offerings
  • Coordinate distribution of products to dealer networks
  • Assist Kia US business leaders on merchandise need
  • Recommend products and merchandise to executive team.

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or equivalent directly related experience.

Overall Experience

  • Minimum 4 years in a marketing environment. 

Directly Related Experience

  • OEM experience preferred.
  • Broad understanding/experience with approvals (including legal and multi-party) associated with marketing assets.

Other Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required domestically and/or internationally.
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Experience on working with in an environment requiring multi-level approvals, including legal
Acumen for accuracy and problem resolution
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with critical deadlines
