Under the direction of the Director, Sales and Field Operations this position is responsible for the coordination of all regional activities associated with the attainment of Kia Motors America’s corporate objectives, including: setting and attainment of wholesale and retail sales objectives, performance of the dealer and regional organizations, , budgeting and organizational programs. Communicate day-to-day operational information in the absence of the Director, Sales and Field Operations.

Major Responsibilities

Priority Major Responsibility %
1st Establish regional retail and wholesale objectives to ensure optimum retail mix and adequate regional/dealer inventories to achieve retail sales objectives. Communicate to management KMA’s corporate strategies for attainment of these objectives including dealer and customer incentives, advertising support, dealer co-op and regional marketing programs.  20
2nd Develop and oversee all Field priorities and assignments to effectively and efficiently deliver on business plan and organizational objectives. Spearhead Dealer and Regional communications, including Dealer Council meetings, letters, videos, presentations, etc. 20
3rd Oversee customer sales experience strategies and budget and ensure regional staff are executing on direction and tactics. 20
4th Develop and supervise Dealer- and Field-based sales and incentive programs, such as quarterly Regional Field Incentive, Sales Elite, Cash Bash, Kia Sales Experience Bonus, KDEP+, etc. to assure program continuity with KMA’s goals. Provide adjustment as necessary to realign program with company goals. 20
5th Lead network performance strategies and oversee the development and preparation of regional business plans, budgets and staffing plans by regional management. Review with regional and company management for compliance. Obtain monthly rationale for over budget conditions and corrective plans. Coordinate objectives on all regional performance reviews, regional and dealer business and operating plans, and any other reports to ensure timely receipt.  20



  • BA, MBA, or equivalent from a fully accredited college or university.


Overall Experience

  • Minimum 15 years U.S. automotive experience including at least 10 years in automotive field sales  management positions including merchandising, market representation, retail sales operations, fixed operations, distribution and business management. 

Directly Related Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years managerial/supervisory experience.
