Status
Summary
Under the direction of the Incentive Planning & Analysis Senior Manager, this position will be responsible for collaborating on:
- Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on competitor incentive actions and spending in all segments where Kia competes including individual markets throughout the nation.
- Developing incentive programs to support achieving sales goals including estimating costs of proposed programs.
- Coordinating with Kia Finance America (KFA) for lease and loan subvention programs.
- Communicating incentive programs to regions and dealers
- Calculating actual incentive costs including program mix and penetration.
- Evaluating effectiveness of incentive programs.
- Monitoring and analyzing residual values.
- Validating incentive information in Kia.com and advertising materials.
Major Responsibilities
1st Priority - 35%
Competitive Incentives -- Monitor, analyze and report on competitive incentives for assigned brands in all segments where Kia competes including regional variations. Identify models and markets where KUS actions might be needed.
2nd Priority - 20%
Monthly Incentive Programs -- Develop effective incentive programs to support retail sales objectives by making improvements to existing programs and by introducing new programs. Proposals should be within approved budget levels unless directed otherwise. Consult as appropriate with KUS Regions, Marketing, and Field Operations for the design, development of incentives. Evaluate ALG residual values for each new guidebook and update incentive model. Update incentive model for latest settlement rates.
3rd Priority - 15%
Program Communication -- Communicate programs to Dealers, Regions and Marketing in a timely and accurate manner. Includes review of program announcements for accuracy, and distribution of program information for dealers, regions and marketing. Review incentive data on kia.com consumer website for accuracy.
4th Priority - 10%
KFA Relationship -- Facilitate an efficient and effective working relationship between KUS and KFA including review of bulletins, data feed of offers to KIAs, and analysis of invoice content. Provide management reports on KFA penetration.
5th Priority - 10%
Post-Program Analysis -- Perform analysis to understand actual incentive costs compared with approval. Investigate significant variances to validate actuals including accuracy of KFA invoice. Provide Finance with timely actual estimates. As appropriate evaluate effectiveness of new programs.
6th Priority - 10%
Support/Ad-hoc -- Provide support to department management and executive staff of Sales and Marketing in all planned and ad-hoc projects.
Education/Certification
- Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.
Overall Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years in the automotive industry, retail and or corporate.
Directly Related Experience
- A combination of 3+ years marketing, incentive planning, sales planning, product pricing, production planning, distribution.

Pay Range
$87,317.00 - $121,409.00
Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
