Status
Summary
Under the direction of Digital Technology Management, the IT Planning & Support Manager is responsible to oversee IT Planning and support activities, stakeholder management, IT budget planning, cross-organizational support activities and vendor relationship management.
The IT Planning & Support Manager works closely with various business units and IT service providers to analyze business needs, review existing systems landscape and plan for solutions implementation. This position will also provide valuable insights for optimizing user experiences, leveraging best enterprise system practices, integrating existing systems, introducing newer technologies, and guiding business stakeholders throughout planning process, risk analysis and resource optimization.
This position acts as escalation point in resolving systems and user support issues and process improvements utilizing a blend of working knowledge, business analysis, project management, and automotive operations.

Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or related field, experience with software programming, systems architecture, and information technology
- Advanced degree and/or certification(s) in Business Analysis, Project Management, Information Technology or Digital Transformation
Overall Experience
- 8 years of experience in systems management, business analysis and project management with technologies such as SAP, .Net, J2EE, Analytics, Web development, Mobile Apps, Adobe technologies etc.
- 3+ years of experience in IT Planning and Support management
- Experience with Project Management methodologies and tools such as MS Project, Jira, etc. and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office suite, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.
- Experience with Cloud Platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc. is desirable
- Solid understanding of IT project life cycle and prior experience with Agile development methodology
Directly Related Experience
- Prior experience in automotive industry is highly desirable
