Summary

Under general supervision, this position provides a broad range of human resources services in line with business objectives, strategic goals, and HR initiatives.  This position provides support to the HR Business Partner on HR related matters such as assisting managers and team members in understanding and applying HR tools (including the HR information systems) in order to maximize team member performance, achieve organizational effectiveness, improve team member engagement, and ensure legal compliance.  This role will also include employee relations, recruitment, training, special projects, and tactical day to day responsibilities assigned by the HR Business Partner.

Recruitment for Assigned Business Client Groups

Employee Relations / Performance Management

Education/Certification

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

HR certification a plus

Overall Experience

5-8 years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist (must have experience in the HR role as a generalist, recruiter, and/or in the employee relations capacity)

Minimum 2 years of progressive experience with employee relations exposure required

Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience working within an ATS required

Knowledge of both California and Federal Labor Laws, understanding of Human Resources related laws and regulations such as EEO, ADA, FLSA, etc.

Knowledge of multi-Human Resources discipline a plus
