Summary

Provide Aftersales support to Fleet companies including rental agencies (Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, etc) along with Rideshare companies such as Lyft and Uber and Kia Flex accounts. Primary Aftersales contact for future PBV accounts. Support for Fleet agencies include individual vehicle support for vehicle down situations. Coordinating technical assistance when needed (via Techline and FTS), managing parts backorders and UPER requests. Work with Field Teams and Dealers to effectively coordinate timely repairs. Establish and oversee Fleet Agency Repair Facility Criteria for repair levels. 

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 40%

Direct Support for Fleet agencies including individual vehicle support for vehicle down situations, coordinating technical assistance when needed (via Techline and FTS), managing Parts Backorders and UPER requests, engaging the Field team when dealer issues occur, and establishment of fleet garage requirements and ‘certification’. 

2nd Priority - 20%

Review requests for campaign work and coordinate approvals with Product Quality and Safety Office.

Develop required repair contracts (for campaigns and recalls) and work with Legal on any updates or changes

3rd Priority - 20%

Establish new fleet/rental agency warranty set up and facility requirements. Ensure that Fleet Agency has appropriate tools, equipment and technician training needed to perform specific campaign/recall and other related repairs.  

4th Priority - 10%

Develop and cascade Fleet Support messaging regarding Claim Submission, Technical Communication and Policy Updates

5th Priority - 10%

Manage Warranty claims from Fleet agencies for approved repairs & ensure that policies and procedures are followed. 

Manage Labor rate increase requests for Fleet Agencies.  
 

Education/Certification

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

Overall Experience

  • At least 3 years Automotive OEM experience. 
  • Prior Fleet experience preferred
  • Field Experience helpful

Directly Related Experience

  • Understanding of Aftersales operations 
  • Warranty Support experience
  • Ability to thoroughly understand vehicle service information procedures and electronic vehicle diagnostic equipment

Skills

Ability to understand different areas of Aftersales including: Technical, Parts and Warranty Support
Ability to understand Technical Bulletins, Warranty Bulletins and Parts process.
Capable of understanding basic vehicle repair processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and data analysis
Understanding of Customer Service with respect to Fleet agency as customer.
Understanding of Warranty Processes and Claiming procedures (in accordance with Kia’s policies and procedures.

Pay Range

$59,725.00 - $79,996

Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
