Summary

The main responsibility of this position is to support the development of additional sales channels for new and used vehicles as well as support the customer satisfaction initiatives for KUS.  Successful execution of this role will yield increase sales volume in retail, fleet, and remarketing sales channels.  It will also provide tools to support and increase customer satisfaction for service related issues. 

This position will work with Fleet, CPO, Finance, Product Planning, Incentives, Remarketing, New Vehicle (retail), and Service in the coordination of programs and initiatives supporting multiple sales channels.  Additionally, performance trends and customer service observations will be shared inter-departmentally to maximize the insights generated through this position.

This position will also support special projects undertaken by the Fleet & Remarketing department. 

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 35%

Implement, manage, and grow fleet programs that directly impact new and used vehicle sales.  Programs include KSRP, UKSRP, dealer-based fleet, commercial fleet and KFA. 


2nd Priority - 35%

Implement, manage, and grow business development programs that directly impact new retail, new fleet, used retail, and remarketing  vehicle sales.


3rd Priority - 15%

Department lead for rental fleet and large fleet service support (operations).


4th Priority - 15%

Collaborate with other team members and divisions to maximize the impact of programs and program support for KUS.

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent job experience in related field required.
  • Master’s degree a plus.

Overall Experience

  • 5+  years in automotive retail, automotive wholesale, captive finance company,  consultancy experience, or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of rental and fleet experience.

Directly Related Experience

  • Experience in project management with proven and successful implementation of initiatives and projects.
  • Dealer and/or major customer sales/service experience.
  • Prior experience in dealer and customer management.

Skills

High level of proficiency in verbal, written and electronic communications.
Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze several sources of data and interpret/incorporate into action plans.
Problem identification, solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Proficiency in KUS and other internal systems including Autoway, KDealer, WebDCS, LDAR & SAP a plus.
