Summary

The Financial Planning and Analysis manager, Incentive/Profitability (FP&A manager) will play a leading role in reviewing and analyzing various vehicle financing programs (APR/Lease), vehicle gross profit/product competitiveness, and parts (including warranty/parts profit disallowance (PPD) business’ operational efficiency.  This position will perform a detailed variance analysis and feasibility study on aforementioned areas, manage key risk factors (i.e. interest rate, default risk, warranty rejection rate, etc.), and provide comprehensive financial reports to the executive management while supervising team member(s).  This position will also perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 30% 

Oversight and management of monthly vehicle incentive programs including APR/Lease programs and preparation of executive management report.  Provide detailed variance analysis on financial results on a regular basis.

2nd Priority - 25%

Perform detailed analysis on vehicle gross profit for each model and trim including product mix analysis and provide variance analysis and recommendations (actual profit vs. planned profit).

Oversee the data analysis for product competitiveness management (price competitiveness, transaction price analysis, etc.).
3rd Priority - 20%

Perform and provide detailed analysis on parts business including parts sales, port-installed-options sales, warranty, and PPD.

4th Priority - 15%

Perform various ad-hoc financial analyses as needed (interest rate impact analysis, produce mix optimization, etc.).

5th Priority - 10%

Supervise team member(s) and be responsible for their professional development.

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or closely related field

Overall Experience

  • 8-10 years of professional work experience in corporate finance field
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus
     

Directly Related Experience

  • 6-8 years of financial reporting (both internal and external), budget management, and financial project analysis experience in corporate environment
  • Experience in SAP/SAP BW and AS400 highly desirable 
  • Previous experience with vehicle financing, vehicle pricing, and automotive parts management is a plus
  • Supervisory experience is a plus

Skills

English and Korean bilingual preferred.
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Knowledge of managerial accounting and corporate finance principles and practices
Proficient with SAP/SAP BW, AS400, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Strong data- and detail-oriented mindset

Pay Range

$84,364 - $117,304

Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
