Summary

The Financial Planning and Analysis manager (FP&A manager) will play a leading role in the preparation of actual P/L report, financial forecast, and annual business plan.  In addition, FP&A manager will perform a detailed variance analysis on key P/L items, manage certain budget items, and provide comprehensive financial reports to the executive management. This position will also perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.

Major Responsibilities

1st - Prepare financial reports for the executive management (monthly, quarterly, annually).  Provide detailed variance analysis on financial results on a regular basis.  (30%)

2nd - Prepare detailed variance analysis on key P/L items (vehicle/parts P/L, warranty expense, etc.) and discover areas to improve. (25%)

3rd - Review, analyze, and manage special project items (CPO/Branded contract, Sirius XM program, etc.). (20%)

4th - Perform various ad-hoc financial analyses as needed (long-term profitability, vehicle pricing, etc.). (20%)

5th - Closely monitor key business indicators and industry trend to make a recommendation to the executive management. (5%)

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or closely related field.

Overall Experience

  • 8~10 years of professional work experience in corporate finance field.
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus.
     

Directly Related Experience

  • 6~8 years of financial reporting (both internal and external), budget management, and financial project analysis experience in corporate environment.
  • Experience in SAP/SAP BW and AS400 highly desirable. 
  • Previous experience supervising a team is a plus.
     

Skills

Knowledge of managerial accounting, financial forecasting, and budgeting principles and practices.
Proficient with SAP/SAP BW, AS400, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Strong data and detail-oriented mindset.
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
English and Korean bilingual preferred.
