Summary

The Financial Analyst will play a supporting role in preparing and reviewing P&L of Kia’s North America business entities (KUS, KCA, KaGA & KMX). In addition, this position will perform a comprehensive financial analaysis on Product Profitability and ad-hoc requests as needed to supportmanagement’s strategic decisions and plans. 

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 30%

Prepare and review monthly financial reporting of Kia NA business entities (KUS, KCA, KaGA & KMX) within the time specified.  

2nd Priority - 30%

Review, analyze, and manage Product Profitability related activities (gross profit, material cost, vehicle margin, trim mix, special projects).

3rd Priority - 15%

Perform various financial analyses on Kia NA subsidiary and provide comprehensive reports (Business Plan, forecast, consolidated profit).

4th Priority - 15%

Closely monitor key business indicators, industry trends, and perform variance analyses to prepare management reports (Interest rate and Incentive analysis).

5th Priority - 10%

Provides ad-hoc reports requested from Kia NA management and Kia HQ.

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business Admin, Account, Finance, or related field) or equivalent work experience required.  

Overall Experience

  • 2-5 years of professional work experience in corporate finance required.
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus
     

Directly Related Experience

  • 2+ years of financial reporting experience (internal and external) and budget management in a corporate environment required.
  • Previous automotive OEM’s Finance Planning and Analysis experience is a plus.

Pay Range

$59,725 - $79,996 

Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
