Summary

Administer vehicle repurchase/replacement and goodwill processes to support Kia America Customer Care policy and procedure.  Provide training and direction to Customer Care staff to ensure maximum customer retention through vehicle replacement, resulting in cost savings to Kia America.  Review vehicle disposal timeframes and take action as necessary to achieve overall disposal within 90 days.  

Major Responsibilities

1st- Vehicle Repurchase, Replacement and Goodwill Administration (including file review, development & adherence to policy and procedures, & AS400 maintenance.  Includes regional staff training duties as necessary.  (85%)

2nd- Generate Repurchase, Goodwill & Super Reports & other ad hoc reports & projects for Kia America management in a timely manner on a monthly basis and as needed basis.  (10%)

3rd- Manage timely repurchased vehicle disposal activities to minimize Kia America expense (target <= 90 days average). (5%)

Education/Certification

4 years college education or equivalent work experience.  

Overall Experience

Minimum 3 years’ consumer affairs or relevant experience in the automotive industry, with a good understanding of business operations and the consumer affairs process.

Directly Related Experience

Knowledge of vehicle repurchase/replacement processes in accordance with state lemon and title branding/disclosure laws, with a minimum of 2 years’ direct experience in negotiating and effective vehicle repurchase/replacement and disposal.  

Skills

Excellent analytical & communication skills.
Well-organized, with ability to complete projects with little/no supervision.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Proficient with AS400 maintenance.
Minimum 50+ wpm typing skills

Pay Range

$56,292.00 - $75,411

Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
