Status
Summary
Provides analytical, administrative and clerical support as directed to the Chief Operating Officer & Executive Vice President (COO & EVP), to maximize retail and wholesale through activities such as preparing analysis, ad-hoc reports, development of various executive presentations, coordinate and liaise between all divisions / departments throughout the company.
Additional duties include planning/coordination of sales meetings and events, under the direction of the COO & EVP. Also performs diversified and advanced administrative duties within the department that require a high level of confidentiality. Acts on behalf of the COO & EVP, and interfaces with the President & CEO’s office, other Vice Presidents, and Directors for Product Planning, Marketing & Communications, Sales Operations, Service, other Kia America (KUS) divisions, as well as Kia North America, Kia Headquarters, community leaders, and other VIPs.
Major Responsibilities
1st Priority - Provide administrative support for the COO & EVP on day to day operational and administrative needs (such as creating EADs, presentations, analysis, etc.) and for the sales management and senior executive coordinator, sales, and other Divisions such as Marketing and Service as needed. Uses independent judgment and discretion in handling business matters on behalf of the COO & EVP with the President & CEO, senior management, and others. (50%)
2nd Priority - Budget: Assist in consolidate and prepare budget for submission to Finance, monitor monthly and/or quarterly spends, create and track PR/POs, and complete other budget duties as required. (20%)
3rd Priority - Coordinate ad hoc projects and assignments as determined and requested by the COO & EVP and act as a liaison between Corporate Sales, Regional Sales, Marketing, Service and Service Division and other divisions/departments.(20%)
4th Priority - Special Projects: Assist or lead in special projects as assigned by the COO or Executive Team. (10%)
Education/Certification
- BA Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Overall Experience
- Minimum 5+ years administrative experience, preferably in Sales, Marketing and Service environment.
Directly Related Experience
- At least 2+ years of experience within the automotive industry desirable.
- At least 2+ years in either sales, marketing and/or communications desirable.
Position Requirements:
- Occasional travel may be required domestically and/or internationally.
- May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.
