Summary

Kia North America’s new business team is looking for an experienced EV Commercial Strategy manager to assist in creating the strategy for B2B business model of new EV product line. 

The manager will be responsible for collaborating across multiple departments to analyze data, plan the channel structure and develop strategies across Kia North America (U.S., Mexico, and Canada). 
 

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 40%

Managing the PBV Go-to Market strategy for North America 

  • Manage the PBV strategy from US, Canada, and Mexico 
  • Business feasibility check and implementation of new ideas
  • Analyze the competition and customer trend in EV commercial market  

 

2nd Priority - 30%

Establishing the EV commercial channel strategy

  • Define the customer segment and the channel structure 
  • Plan the business model for the upfitting/conversion 
  • Discover the business opportunities and implement the Proof of Concept (PoC)
  • Cross-functionally lead the project with the B2B customers

 

3rd Priority - 30%

Planning the B2B dedicated solutions   

  • Build the business model for the In-vehicle infotainment 
  • Manage the Vehicle Data processing structure  
  • Create the dedicated B2B Insurance program  
  • Plan the B2B Financial solutions and analyze the profitability 
     

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree and equivalent work experience required
  • MBA preferred
     

Overall Experience

  • 10+ years of overall industry experience, with start-up experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of project management or high-level management experience 
  • 3-5 years of experience with light duty commercial vehicles, either in consulting, strategy, or business development
     

Directly Related Experience

  • Strong business analysis skills and experience 
  • 10+ Experience with EV Commercial or consulting in the industry 
  • • 10+ Experience from the OEM’s planning or strategy division 

 

Position Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required domestically and/or internationally 
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays
     

Skills

Ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality on all matters.
Ability to multi-task, manage through competing demands, prioritize, and work with other team members at all levels within the company.
Excellent communication skills required (written and oral).
Knowledge of project planning required.

Pay Range

$98,043.00 - $132,326.00 

Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
