Status
Summary
The Director, Marketing Operations overseeing product launch activities and sustainment activities in Tier 1, 2 & 3 and multicultural marketing. The role is to the lead on brand strategy and analytics/metrics, media (Broadcast/Digital/Print/Social/OOH), Advertising. The Director is to manage marketing plans to consumers and dealers, per the defined annual, near term, and long term Business Plan, as well as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This role directly oversees vendor and agency partners, Media, Brand Strategy, Advertising, and paid Social Media activities and strategies.
Major Responsibilities
Priority 1st - 30%
Marketing Strategy & Operations: Leading marketing strategy (brand & product), communication planning, I&D, CSR, marketing operations (marketing research & creative testing, budget, marketing fleet, optimization of processes/operation) and Analytics across the marketing team.
Priority 2nd - 25%
Tier 1 & Multicultural Advertising: Lead Tier 1 & Multicultural Advertising creative strategy, development and day-to-day operations. Lead strategy and executions in broadcast, digital, print, social, OOH marketing.
Priority 3rd - 25%
Tier 2 & 3 Advertising: Oversee the Retail Marketing Department. Includes oversight of all Tier 2 marketing (Dealer Marketing Group) oversight, development of retail advertising content library and alignment with Tier 3 efforts.
Priority 4th - 20%
Media: Lead strategic and executional development of T1& T2 media plans to ensure all plan elements are on strategy, timely, and have the potential to deliver against goals, objectives and key brand performance drivers.
Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Master’s degree desirable
Overall Experience
- 15+ years’ experience in the automotive industry, retail and or corporate with dealer contact experience preferred
- 10+ years of marketing management experience either at an agency or corporate environment required
- 5+ years’ experience in advertising, brand strategy, product marketing, sales, digital marketing, media, pricing, product and/or corporate planning, or consumer insights; automotive experience a plus
- 5+ years’ experience in leading and/or managing digital marketing activities; experience developing and optimizing web and mobile based platforms strongly desired as is experience overseeing paid and owned digital/social platforms and tools highly desired.
Directly Related Experience
- Must be able to demonstrate history of driving cultural change, innovation and growth through brand recognition and customer locality initiatives
- Must have proven track record of Advertising initiatives.
- Must have solid understanding of Media best practices.
- Must have vendor and agency management experience.

Pay Range
$147,065.00 - $213,228.00
Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
