The Consumer Intelligence Manager is responsible for providing market research advice, support, execution, and reporting that is required to ensure that the organization has a comprehensive and detailed understanding of Kia and Competitive passenger car and light truck owners. This understanding needs to be generated from the collection, analysis, and reporting of data from syndicated databases and primary research. The support provided needs to be on both a reactive basis, to service the needs of internal clients and project teams as well as on a proactive basis, seeking out opportunities to deliver analysis, research, insights, and recommendations that make a positive contribution to product planning and corporate strategy. 

Major Responsibilities

1st Conduct post-launch Dealer, Early Buyer and Rejecter studies for major update and all-new models. 35%
2nd Conduct ad-hoc projects to support the market and consumer research needs of internal Kia clients. 30%
3rd Manage the Maritz NVCS vendor relationship and the internal rollout of annual reporting and questionnaire changes. 10%
4th Manage the vendor relationship with mTAB LLC and the internal management of the mTAB software platform and user licenses.  10%
5th Manage the vendor relationship with Qualtrics and the company’s use of the annual software license.  10%
6th Manage the analysis and reporting of the annual Kia Owners Demographics Report.  5%



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Master’s degree in business or related field preferred

Overall Experience

  • Minimum 5 years market research experience with a solid foundation and understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
  • Experience of working in client-side market research teams or at market research agencies.
  • Extensive hands-on experience of project planning, design, execution, analysis, reporting and presentation of market research projects.
  • Experience of managing vendors.
