Administer the daily operation of specific functions related to company vehicles in KMA’s sales in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. Develop analytical tools to monitor and track company vehicle department cars at all levels; make recommendations to reduce overall operating costs; and recommend corrective actions in order to achieve greater levels of efficiency. Provide support to Company Vehicles team for all company vehicle-related activities. Support management in planned and ad-hoc projects/activities as needed.
Priority 1st - 20%
Facilitate the KMA Employee Vehicle Purchase Program by working with employees who are interested in purchasing returned company vehicles and assisting them through the sale process with local dealers.
Priority 2nd - 20%
Process all CA DMV new registrations and renewals for company lease vehicles. Accurately complete all DMV related paperwork and audits by the required time frame. Process planned non-operation notices.
Priority 3rd - 25%
Administer the KMA Headquarters’ Company Vehicle Pool and Rental Vehicle Program by reserving vehicles requested by employees, ensuring they are approved drivers and meet KMA driving requirements.
Priority 4th - 15%
Main point of contact for all vehicle transporters that arrive at KMA to drop off and pick up vehicles. Inspect each car for damage upon arrival/at time of return and note accordingly.
Priority 5th - 20%
Schedule all KMA Headquarter employee vehicle appointments for KMA lease vehicle program for both pick up and return of vehicles. Inspect each vehicle for damage and missing items and document findings on vehicle inspections accordingly. Prep each vehicle on required days by scheduling car washes based on set appointment times and process registration prior to pick up.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with direct administration of corporate fleet vehicle activities.
- Experience with vehicle allocation, inventory control, vehicle repair/maintenance, vehicle record keeping and knowledge of overall vehicle distribution operations is required.
Position Requirements:
- Occasional travel may be required.
- May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
