 This position will play roles in reviewing/analyzing business performance and plan, strategy for Kia North America’s regional subsidiaries (USA/Canada/Mexico). In addition to taking charge of performing sales and business strategy, you will be responsible for analyzing each country’s market trend and sales performance such as supply, wholesale, retail sales, inventory management, incentive program. 

This position will also be responsible for not only reviewing or analyzing issue, but also reporting solutions to supervisor and executives, as well as performing ad-hoc duties as needed.

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 25%

Administer North America Business Strategy

  • Develop and propose Kia North America’s short & long-term business strategies based on the market environment, sales & production, and profit
  • Review each subsidiary’s(Kia USA/Canada/Mexico)business plan and strategy to optimize North America business performance (Production/Sales/Incentive/etc.)

2nd Priority - 25%

Review and Analyze North America Sales Performance 

  • Collect and review sales forecast and result of Kia USA/Canada/Mexico (Supply/Wholesale/Retail Sales/Inventory/etc.)
  • Analyze sales performance by model to improve performance 
  • Find and resolve subsidiaries’ business operation issue (Supply, Sales, Incentive, etc.)

3rd Priority - 25%

Research and Review North America’s Market Trend

  • Research and analyze competitors’ mid & long-term business strategies (Model line-up, dealer network, charging infra, etc.)
  •  Analyze each country’s sales data by brands & segmentations & models and review competitors' sales performance
  • Monitor and review overall business environment & market trends related to the auto industry

4th Priority - 25%

Support North America’s Business Operations

  • Create materials & references for the executive’s meetings between headquarter, regional headquarter, and sales & production subsidiaries
  • Provide and create presentations, reports or other materials as needed for Business Strategy Group 


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.  
  • Master’s degree a plus.

Overall Experience

  • 8+ years work experience in Automotive or related industry 
  • 8+ years of corporate or sales strategy experience
  • Preferred several years of consulting or research experience on all the businesses    

Directly Related Experience

  • Administrative duties with a focus on attention to detail and organization skills
  • Strong business analysis skills and experience 
  • Analytical and logical thinking based on the information of research 

Position Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required domestically and/or internationally 
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays


Ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality on all matters
Ability to multi-task, manage through competing demands, prioritize, and work with other team members at all levels within the company.
English and Korean bilingual preferred.
Excellent communication skills required (written and oral).
Knowledge of project planning preferred.
Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Pay Range

$86,700.00 - $116,900.00
