Summary

 Supports both the Sr. Diversity Marketing Manager and the Sr. Advertising Production Manager with activities in connection with the execution of projects within the Advertising Department. Oversees key diversity and GM advertising and marketing projects, including product brochures, diversity and GM creative reviews, showroom point-of-sale and AdPlanner.  Supports production of broadcast, print, diversity digital/website and out-of-home creative, including securing legal reviews and financial approvals.  Actively tracks and maintains diversity and advertising production budgets, including the budget tracking reports.

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 25%   

Assists with diversity marketing activities, including creative reviews of broadcast, digital videos, monthly social content, translations on kiaespanol.com, executing marketing tactics to reach diverse groups, implementation of events.  


2nd Priority - 20%

Oversees activities related to creative development, production and inventory of individual vehicle, SUV and Sedan product brochures and showroom point-of-sale materials; based on product changes, determines scope of materials needed for each vehicle; provides direction to agency in concept and design phases; manages project deadlines with agency and outside vendors; facilitates internal reviews and secures financial approvals.


3rd Priority - 10%

Oversees AdPlanner.com, including development and maintenance of new content for the site used primarily by Kia dealerships for Tier 3 use.


4th Priority - 20%

Works with internal departments (Legal, Regional Strategy, Product Planning, Finance) to initiate national advertising projects (routes EADs, enter PAs, processes vendor invoices, POs/PAs, and develops and maintains budget tracking reports etc.), facilitates review of advertising materials and secures approvals on all national diversity and GM advertising materials and projects.


5th Priority - 15%

Maintains national diversity and GM advertising department budget ($48MM); works with Sr. Diversity Marketing Manager and Sr. Advertising Production Manager on project updates to ensure all changes/revisions are reflected on budget documents; prepares and submits national diversity and GM advertising monthly accruals form.


6th Priority - 10%

Other duties as they directly relate to position, including working with agency partners, the marketing department and with other departments for product information, budget maintenance and tracking.

Education/Certification

  •  Must have BA or BS degree in Marketing, Advertising or equivalent work experience.

Overall Experience

  •  Minimum 3-5 years marketing experience; social content, advertising production either on client or agency side preferred

Directly Related Experience

  • Minimum 3 years auto industry experience or equivalent advertising agency experience working on car account.

Other Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required domestically and/or internationally.

  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Must be familiar with Standard PC Software such as Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint Presentations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Project management skills which includes handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay Range

$61,300.00 - $79,900.00
