Summary

The Accounting Administrator will perform the monthly financial and accounting closing, and daily activities related to; Company Vehicle Accounting, Buyback Inventory Accounting, Evaluation Vehicle Accounting and Management, Asset Evaluation Reimbursement, and Fixed Asset Accounting and Management. 

Major Responsibilities

Priority Major Responsibility %
1st Responsible for managing accounting journal entries, reconciliations and treatments of Company Vehicle Inventory , Testing/Evaluation Vehicle Inventory, Fixed Asset Inventory, and Buyback Vehicles. 30%
2nd Timely review and processing of vehicle and distributor plate requests, with attention to request content, policy compliance, and professionalism while communicating with all levels of leadership. 20%
3rd Systems and data management for accurate and timely processing and reporting of assigned vehicle category’s current value and future valuation. Responsible for securing data integrity, history maintenance and for reviewing, designing, and producing system-automated processes and reports. 20%
4th Timely review and payment processing of Asset Evaluation Reimbursement Requests. 10%
5th Participate in periodic Inventory Physical counts and prepare ad-hoc reports; support internal and external customers, e.g., operating departments and auditors. 10%
6th Resolve account discrepancies associated with account balances and reconciliations by coordinating with operating departments to resolve balances and identify issues in processing. 10%

 

Education/Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance

Overall Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of progressive work experience in accounting

Directly Related Experience

SAP,  AS400, Excel, Access    

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access, & AS400 Query Reporting.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, & IFRS.
Working knowledge of SAP system
