Summary

The purpose of this position is to develop the skills and knowledge to become a successful District Sales Manager within KMA's structure.

  • At the direction of the Regional Sales Manager, support all regional sales positions - Distribution, Dealer Development, and Marketing.
  • Supports regional sales operations to assure KMA sales policies and procedure are understood and implmented by the dealer body.

Major Responsibilities

Priority 1st - 35% - Support Regional Sales Manager in Day to Day operations

Priority 2nd - 30% - Support District Sales Managers in their achievement of objectives and daily tasks.

Priority 3rd - 15% - Monitor retail and wholesale performance up to the regional level.

Priority 4th - 15% - Support all regional sales positional – Distribution, Dealer Development, and Marketing.

Priority 5th - 5% - Miscellaneous programs, projects and assignments as determined and requested by Regional Sales Manager.

 

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience required

Overall Experience

  • 0-3  years’ work or internship experience required

Directly Related Experience

  • Knowledge of automotive manufacturers and/or distributors and their relationship with their dealers is a plus for Analyst assignment.

Skills

Intermediate PC skills in a windows-based environment
Well organized, with the ability to complete projects as assigned
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be self initiating; able to work under minimal supervision and under high pressure and stress with multiple same time deadlines.
Excellent communication skills required (written and oral)
