Summary

 This position will play an important role in executing long-range strategy for Kia North America’s regional subsidiaries (USA/Canada/Mexico). A future-driven automotive company, Kia has access to vast and diverse partnerships and are excited to fill this position with an individual that can derive business improvements and insight from this collaboration. Strong applicants for this role will have planning, researching and strategic skills to leverage communication with related partners as well as perform reproducible business analysis aligned with the customer trend.

1st Planning for a mid-to-long term strategy 
  • Structure an integrated strategy to implement Plan S  
  • Establish the US/Canadian/Mexico strategic framework

2nd Analyzing the market & customer trend      
  • Analyze the main player’s strategy and derive the insight 
  • Monitor the key customer trends and forecast demand

3rd Establishing the mobility business eco-system  
  • Discover collaborative elements between existing stakeholders 
  • Create new idea-based partnerships
  • Collaborate on city council-sponsored projects

4th Investigating the B2B & Commercial market for PBV      
  • Research the B2B & Commercial customer in North America
  • Identify the requirement of the future product & solution
  • Participate in auto-delivery robot business and hub operation

5th Executing the new business ideas with strategic planning    
  • Develop the new profit structure with a new business model 
  • Business feasibility check and implementation of new ideas (E.g EV subscription)

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Master’s degree a plus.

Overall Experience

  • Minimum 7-10 years relevant experience in the automotive industry, business/market research, and a strong interest in mobility solutions 
  • Deep experience in US automotive markets is a must.
  • Required 3-5 years of project management or high-level administrative experience, or 2-3 years of project management or high-level administrative experience with master’s degree 
  • Preferred 5+ years of consulting or research experience on mobility or PBV  preferred  
  • Preferred 5+ years of start-up experience related to the automotive business preferred 

Directly Related Experience

  • Strong business analysis skills and experience 
  • Business structuring for B2B or Commercial market 
  • New idea implementation experience for the mobility service 

Skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills required (written and oral).
Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to multi-task, juggle competing demands, prioritize and work with other team members at all levels within the company.
Ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality on all matters
Knowledge of project planning preferred
