  • Under direct supervision of Digital Planning Manager, work closely with Retail Marketing team in a variety of areas including integrated media planning, digital marketing, retail strategy, data storytelling, and marketing communications. Work collaboratively across the Kia organization in and outside of marketing, including an array of Kia agency and business partners.

Major Responsibilities

Create marketing communication collateral (i.e., one page summary documents, infographics, and presentation decks) for Kia's digital marketing programs utilizing compelling written, visual media, and analytic performance analysis for region and retailer audiences.



Strategize retail marketing initiatives (such as SEM conquest strategy, audience targeting, and AB testing) with key business partners and Google.



Research competitive landscape and develop recommendation to enhance Kia's current T2 dynamic creative strategy.



Work with key stakeholders to identify and streamline media metrics, reporting consolidation, and sustainment processes for Tier 2 and Tier 3 retail initiatives.



Support KMA cross-tier search advertising coordination task force with business partners including IWA, CWW, Shift Digital, and Google through Tier 2 and Tier 3 analytic reporting needs and communication materials.



  • In progress of Bachelor’s degree
  • Marketing or Communications focus preferred

Overall Experience

  • Prior internship experience a plus
  • Basic knowledge of marketing channels, tactics, and reporting
  • Interest in marketing, media, analytics, and/or research

Directly Related Experience

  • Familiarity with automotive industry
  • A passion for automotive is a plus


Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and/or Illustrator)

Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft software.

Excellent communication skills required (written and oral)

Well organized, with the ability to complete projects as assigned
