Summary
Kia North America’s Connected Car team is looking for an experienced Mobility Program Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Connected Services subscription offering, revenue and cost modeling for UVO line of products with Kia Connected Vehicles.
In this role, the program manager will also be responsible for developing, managing, and further enhancing various Feature-On-Demand based offerings enabled by Connectivity and IOT based services. The candidate will be responsible to ensure the service offerings enhance overall customer experience, manage cost, and improve the overall service take rate.
The candidate will also be responsible for developing smart data centric projects like UBI and services to further expand monetization opportunities in this area. Developing various financial models and aligning the projects accordingly would be key expectation from this role.

Education/Certification
Education
- BS in Engineering or Computer Science is a minimum
- MBA or equivalent business degree is also an added must
- IOT certification is a major plus
- PMP certification is a major plus
- Product Owner Certification preferred
Overall Experience
Related Experience
- 10+ years of overall industry experience
- 7+ years of relevant product management experience, including 3+ years in a product leadership role
- 5+ years’ experience in the Connected Car, Mobility space and IOT.
- 5+ years proven record in technology partnership negotiations, ideation, and execution of such projects.
- Prior experience to subscription-based product offerings will have huge advantage.

- Identify growth and monetization opportunity through Connectivity and Mobility enabled services
- Manage and improve existing Connectivity subscription services
- Develop new Connected Car data services opportunities
- Develop business case and program to support various Feature on Demand services using OTA and Connected Car services
- Study and develop new partnership opportunities and make management recommendations
- Candidates exhibit strong experience in area of technology and a flexible, creative approach to problem solving. They should be able to take ownership of business requirements and devise and develop solutions that meet the customers' needs. Time to market is critical. They must be able to liaise closely with many stakeholders to continue to drive projects forward. Support development of requirements and specifications relative to the solution including project hardware, software, and infrastructure support.
